Last week, our friends over at MK Method gave us a shout-out on Instagram and shared some photos of an install we had helped on.
Because of that friendly gesture, our Instagram following went through the roof so we wanted to say a big thank you to Megan and Kasia for that. But also we wanted to say hello and welcome to our new friends and tell you a little bit more about us as a company.
MyGarage was born in 2006 by owner Abigail Leonard. She had just moved back to Durban from the UK and whilst in London had her own garage transformed by the UK based Garageflex. Loving the concept, Abi realised there was a real need for garage storage and someone to help organise the space with shelves, cabinets, racks and hooks. And so MyGarage began...
To start off we only offered the panel system option which proved very successful with around 150-200 garages being completed in the first year. Then in 2013 we introduced the new Kenovo DuraTrax range which brought in our Rail Storage system, again this has been hugely popular.
